Bellevue Veterinary Hospital

The receptionist's job is a very demanding one. They are the first contact for many people who call or enter the clinic with questions, requests, or emergencies. They have to be able to deal with people and animals directly as they enter, as well as those requiring assistance over the phone. Often times, many people are in need of their attention all at the same time. These women do their utmost to make sure that everyone gets the attention they require as promptly as possible.

Maureen is our Housecall Receptionist and has been with the practice for the longest of all our reception staff. Maureen has been with us since 1988. She's always the one who worries about the others around her, buying birthday cards, cakes, and goodies, and generally nurturing the staff morale on a regular basis. Although she's a receptionist, she also makes a great deal of effort to spend time with patients in the kennel rooms. Maureen is a wonderful asset to our veterinary hospital because of her desire to help people and her great sense of compassion.
Kathy has been a receptionist with our hospital since 1997. She came to us with many years experience at veterinary clinics both here and in Calgary. She has a very efficient and professional manner and has a desire to help anyone in need. Kathy has a big heart for both people and their pets.
Dallas became a full time receptionist in January 2004. She's cheerful, hard-working and caring. She always offers to help out (even when she doesn't have to.) She's a long time resident of the community and has taken part in local 4H activities for many years.
Genevieve is the newest of our reception staff. She joined our team in November 2004. She is a ball of energy! She has lots of experience with customer service and, of course, a life-long love of our 4-legged creatures. With this combination of attributes, she makes a wonderful addition to our reception staff.
Sharon Bowditch will be dearly missed. She worked with us "as family" for 11 years until January, 2004 when she was diagnosed with brain cancer. She was a happy person who loved people, animals, and life, in general. She passed away in April 2005. We still think of her and miss her every day.
